OMC periodically issues public tenders for standardised medicinal cannabis products. Only OMC-contracted suppliers may supply the core Dutch pharmacy market. Contracts run 2–4 years.

OMC publishes tenders on TenderNed (Dutch government procurement platform) and the OMC website. Tenders are published 3–6 months before contract start date.
- Pre-qualification Requirements
Suppliers must demonstrate GMP/GACP certification, financial standing, supply capacity, and quality management system before tender evaluation.

OMC evaluates responses on quality, price, and supply security. Multiple suppliers may be awarded for the same variety.
