Australian-licensed manufacturer or exporter intends to export medicinal cannabis. Australia is a significant global supplier — TGA-certified GMP is broadly accepted internationally.
- ODC manufacturer/exporter license

- Hold ODC Exporter License
Annual ODC license under Narcotic Drugs Act 1967 required for all cannabis exports. Must demonstrate secure storage, fit and proper person test, and compliance track record.
- Obtain Destination Country Import Auth
Importing country must issue its own import authorization before Australian ODC will issue the export permit. For Germany: BfArM BtMG §3. For UK: Home Office DLCU. For Israel: IMFA.
- Destination import authorization must be received first
- Authorization must specify Australian supplier by name
- Quantity and product must match exactly
- Apply: ODC Export Permit
Per-shipment ODC export permit application. Submit destination country import authorization with application.

- Consignee details in destination country
- Processing: approximately 2–4 weeks
- Export permit granted?
ODC issues or requests further information. Denials are uncommon if destination import authorization is valid.
