Producer must hold a valid Rwanda FDA cultivation and/or manufacturing license with GACP and EU-GMP certification. EU-GMP is required for pharmaceutical-grade export.

Destination country import authorization must be obtained before Rwanda FDA will issue export authorization. EU member states, UK, and others require their own import permits.

- Import auth must name the Rwandan exporter

Apply to Rwanda FDA for per-shipment export authorization. Submit destination import authorization with application.
