Export / Import Process

Workflow steps

1. Export Intent
   Strong export orientation: Greek producers supply Germany, UK, Netherlands, and others. Per-shipment EOF export authorization required.
   • EOF export authorization per shipment
   • Destination country import authorization obtained first
   • EOF manufacturing/export license
2. Producer Holds EOF License
   Greek-licensed manufacturer holds EOF cultivation and/or manufacturing license with EU-GMP certification.
   • EOF cultivation license (GACP)
   • EOF manufacturing license (GMP)
   • EU-GMP Part I certificate current
3. Obtain Destination Import Auth
   Importing country must issue import authorization before EOF will issue the export authorization.
   • Germany: BfArM BtMG §3
   • UK: Home Office DLCU
   • Netherlands: CCBM import authorization
   • Other: destination-specific requirements
4. Apply: EOF Export Authorization
   Per-shipment export authorization from EOF. Submit destination import authorization with application.
   • Destination import authorization attached
   • Product details, quantity, consignee
   • HS code 1211.90
   • Processing: approximately 2–3 weeks
5. Athens Airport Export
   Export clearance at Athens airport. EU customs export declaration filed. INCB reporting obligation.
   • EOF export authorization at customs
   • EU customs export declaration
   • GDP-compliant packaging and handling
6. Export Cleared ✓
   Greek EU-GMP certified cannabis exported to international markets.
