License Intent
Colombia is one of the world's most cost-competitive cannabis producers. Legal since 2016 (Law 1787). Four license types: seed access, cultivation (non-psychoactive), cultivation (psychoactive), and derivatives manufacture.

MinJusticia Cultivation License
Ministry of Justice issues cultivation licenses. Two types: non-psychoactive (industrial hemp) and psychoactive (medical cannabis).

INVIMA Manufacture License
INVIMA (National Food and Drug Institute) issues manufacturing licenses for cannabis derivatives (extracts, oils, capsules). Required for export-grade product.

Both licenses granted?
Cultivation license from MinJusticia and manufacturing license from INVIMA must both be held before export-grade production can begin.

Both licenses held. INVIMA GMP certification required for EU/UK/Australia export. GACP certification for all cultivation sites.
